They are offering government jobs on a large scale, free coronavirus vaccines and promising to make the state number one in the country in terms of development and a number of other issues of importance for the public.

On Saturday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav released the party manifesto for the upcoming elections. Keeping the youth of the state in mind, former Bihar deputy chief minister announced 10 lakh government jobs and Rs 1500 unemployment allowance. He also promised to start teachers' recruitment on a war footing, a new industrial policy for the state, fair MSPs for farm produce and plans to develop smart villages.

“If I become CM, then in my first cabinet meeting I’ll sign an order giving 10 lakh government jobs to the youth of Bihar,” said Tejashwi Yadav while addressing a rally at Hisua in Nawada district of Bihar on Friday.

Yadav is the Mahagathbandhan chief ministerial face. He was joined by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who also addressed the rally at Hisua. Tejashwi, while attacking Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, said, “CM says Bihar is a landlocked state so factories can’t be established in absence of sea. Nitish Ji, you’re tired now and can’t handle Bihar. Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana are landlocked states too, but our people still go there to work as they have factories.”
