The Noida-Greater Noida Metro is still awaiting the final inauguration date but the buzz around has already started reflecting in numbers now. The metro corridor is expected to start its operations from this month. The metro has started the advance booking of the smart cards and surprisingly, more than 10 thousand cards have been booked so far. Those using the smart card for their travel will get a discount of 10 per cent, just like the Delhi Metro system. The card has been named "Noida Metro City 1 Card".
