Finally iOS users can now send and receive money via BHIM app. They just have to download the app through App Store by searching ‘BHIM NPCI app’ . After installing, the icon will appear on your iPhone. However, BHIM does not work on the non-cellular iPAD’s.

Here is how BHIM app looks on iPhone

Earlier the app was only available for Android phones.

On December 30, 2016, Modi had launched BHIM App to support his demonetisation move or cashless payment system.

The Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) App is  a simplified payment platform designed  to make Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and USSD payment modes simpler and usable across feature phones and smart phones, the report added.

Recently, during Union Budget 2017-18, FM Arun Jaitely said, "The government will launch two new schemes to promote usage of BHIM app and these are Referral Bonus Scheme for individuals and a Cashback Scheme for merchants."

So far, 125 lakh people have adopted the BHIM app.
