Batla House box office collection: The John Abraham-starrer is doing better business at the box office this weekend. The film's business has been aided by Janmashtami festivities in the second weekend. So far, the movie has made Rs 76.57 crore in India business. However, the movie's collection is nowhere close to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer film Mission Mangal, which was released on the same day.

The Nikkhil Advani-directed film made Rs 4.15 crore on Friday and Rs 6.58 crore on Saturday. John's acting in the movie has been appreciated by the audience. The movie managed to earn 14.50 crore at the box office on the opening day.

The movie is based on an encounter that took place in Delhi's Batla House on September 19, 2008. Last year too, Akshay Kumar's Gold and John-starrer Satyamev Jayate clashed at the box office on Independence Day.
