Bank Holidays List: Today is a bank holiday! Today, July 21, 2021, the banks will remain closed on the occasion of Bakri Id (Id-Ul-Zuha) (Eid-Ul-Azha).

It must be noted that are three types of holidays that are mentioned in the RBI list. They are - Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday and Banks’ Closing of Accounts. The RBI has categorically mentioned that the banks in certain states and cities will remain closed on the occasion of these above-mentioned holidays.

On July 21, 2021, banks will remain closed on the occasion of Bakri Id (Id-Ul-Zuha) (Eid-UI-Adha) in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar.

On July 22, 2021, on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha, the banks will remain closed Jammu and Srinagar.

The bank customers must note that the banks will remain closed on July 24, 2021, as it is the fourth Saturday of the month.

In addition to that this month, the banks will remain closed on July 31, 2021, on the occasion of Ker Puja in Agartala.

The bank customers must note that they will not be able to withdraw and deposit money at the bank branches due to the holidays. However, ATMs, mobile banking and online banking services will be available during these days.
