So, while Badhaai Ho has scored a 'Nelson' (111 is also referred to as Nelson in cricketing terms), Thugs of Hindostan has been flying. However, 'Nelson' is considered as extremely unlucky.  So, will ToH spell end of road for Ayushman Khurrana and Badhaai Ho at BO? At the outset, comparison between Badhaai Ho and Thugs of Hindostan is not right because both were made at different budgets and while superstars are present in big numbers in ToH, the other film is bereft of any.

Thugs of Hindostan has occupied most of the big screens (released in 5000 screens in India) with its release on 8 November and yet Badhai Ho is still managing to make more than Rs 1 crore a day, which is indeed commendable.

'Nelson' or no 'Nelson', Thugs of Hindostan may be present in most screens, but it is definitely not going to muscle out Badhaai Ho from the limited numbers that it is present in! The film may add more to the box office in the end of the week since no other option is left for people to choose from. And in any case, it is a quality film with touching content.
