Badhaai Ho box office collection: With his offbeat movies, Ayushmann Khurrana has emerged as one of the most popular actors in Bollywood and surprised one and all concerned. His latest movie Badhaai Ho has received rave reviews and praise from the audience. Within 4 days of its release, the film based on the life of a middle-class couple has earned Rs 45.06 cr.

The box office numbers of Badhaai Ho have proved that the film lives up to expectations. Badhaai Ho collections jumped phenomenally over the opening weekend despite competition from previous and new releases.

Badhaai Ho collection was Rs 7.29 cr on the opening day (Thursday), it earned Rs 11.67 cr on Friday, Rs 12.60 cr on Saturday, and Rs 13.50 cr on Sunday.

Didn’t release in Madhya Pradesh due to cinema strike. Otherwise, the total would be higher," Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said in his twitter handle.

Badhaai Ho still continues to do well at the box office. All that remains to be seen is whether the film manages to sustain its growth over the weekdays.

Another Ayushmann Khurrana film, AndhaDhun, too made a buzz at the box office, collecting over Rs 50 crore and the film is still earning good amounts at the BO. 

Badhaai Ho surpassed the opening week collections of his previous releases. AndhaDhun collected Rs. 15 cr, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan collected Rs. 14.46 cr, Nautanki Saala collected Rs. 13.25 cr, Bareilly Ki Barfi collected Rs. 11.52 cr, and Vicky Donor collected Rs. 7.40 cr in the opening week, according to Bollywood Hungama report.

However, another release did not fare well at all. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's film Namaste England which was also released on the same day managed to earn Rs 6.55 cr by the weekend.
