Baaghi 2 box office collection day 2: After making a fantastic first day box office collection, which saw Rs 25.10 crore coming in through the BO, Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2 could not maintain the pace on the second day. It is believed that generally films show major growth spurt on Saturday, but in this case there was a major drop on the cards. Baaghi 2  had released on Good Friday, which is a partial holiday. Whatever may be the reason, this Tiger movie could not maintain the first day's earning zeal and the take fell to Rs 20.40 crore.

Tiger Shroff, however, made a strong statement in India with Baaghi 2 box office collection figures. The film has raced to a total of Rs 25.10 cr in the domestic market on opening day and it has already broken a number of records, including of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer Padmaavat and it is bound to notch up other records too. To have solid collections like these is quite superb as the total stands at Rs 45.50 crore. With this total, the film has already gone way past the entire weekend numbers of the first franchise, Baaghi, which had collected Rs 38.58 crore.

Baaghi 2 collection was virtually double on day one of what the predictions were and it thereby became the highest opening day grosser of 2018. With Baaghi 2 collection, Tiger Shroff has indicated that he is ready to be a part of the Bollywood superstar brigade. While the domestic collections have been supreme, Baaghi 2 is doing well in foreign lands too. The  movie has earned well enough on day 2 in the areas that data is available for. The Australian box office recorded $36,732 [Rs 23.90 lakh] from 17 screens while New Zealand box office recorded $32,598 [Rs 21.21 lakh] from 14 screens.

Meanwhile, analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Baaghi2 is a LOTTERY... Continues to SURPRISE [the trade] and SHOCK [the pessimists] with SENSATIONAL biz on Sat... Proves all calculations and assumptions wrong... Fri 25.10 cr, Sat 20.40 cr. Total: ₹ 45.50 cr. India biz. "

Baaghi box office collection is expected to hit the Rs 100 cr mark next week. Indeed, a great position to be in after initially having to deal with predictions that were not as optimistic. The future of Baaghi 2 collections will now depend on word of mouth assistance more than anything else. What Tiger, Ileana D'Cruz and the filmmakers can do now is hope for the best to happen.
