Avengers: Endgame box office collection day 6: There is no stopping Marvel's latest superhero saga! Avengers: Endgame which released on April 26 continues to break records at the box office. After witnessing a dream run during the opening weekend, the film continues to outperform Hindi biggies and has now become the number one movie in India for 2019. Avengers: Endgame had crossed the Rs 200 crore mark on the fifth day of its release and had earned Rs 215.80 crore by Tuesday. Even though the official figures of day 6 are yet to be revealed, entertainment industry tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted on Thursday morning that the collection could be around Rs 30 crore.

This would take Endgame's overall collection by the end of day 6 to Rs 246 crore. "#AvengersEndgame 's early estimates for #LabourDay / #MayDay in #India is around ₹ 30 Crs Nett..The total reaches ₹ 246 Cr Nett..," he tweeted. With this, Avengers: Endgame has surpassed Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike's lifetime collection. The latter had earned Rs 244 crore.

"#AvengersEndgame with ₹ 246 Crs Nett in #India beats #UriTheSurgicalStrike 's ₹ 244 Crs Nett to become No.1 Movie in #India for 2019..," Bala said in another tweet. With no big release scheduled for Friday, Endgame would be looking at another massive weekend in India, which would set it on course for the Rs 500 crore mark, making it one of the biggest releases in the country ever.

Earlier, on Tuesday, the film had earned Rs 26.10 crore. "#AvengersEndgame refuses to slow down... Crosses ₹ 200 cr on Day 5 [Tue]... Sets sights on ₹ 400 cr... Fri 53.60 cr, Sat 52.20 cr, Sun 52.85 cr, Mon 31.05 cr, Tue 26.10 cr. Total: ₹ 215.80 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 256.90 cr," movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

In the domestic market, the MCU epic scored the fourth-biggest Tuesday gross ever, behind only Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $37 million day-five gross, Transformers’ $36.5 million opening Tuesday (counting $8 million in Monday previews) and The Amazing Spider-Man’s $35 million opening day. This puts film's five-day domestic total at a whopping $427 million, well above The Force Awakens’ $288 million five-day cume back in December of 2015.

The film stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin. It is expected to breach the Rs 250 crore mark on Thursday.
