Avengers: Endgame box office collection day 4: The Marvel epic, Avengers: Endgame continued its historic run at the Indian box office, even on Monday. After witnessing a record weekend where it raked in a massive Rs 157.20 crore, the film minted another Rs 32 crore to take its overall collection to around Rs 189 crore by the end of day 4. These collections span English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of the film and are now the all time highest for a Hollywood or a Bollywood film in India. The day four collection were confirmed by film trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel. "#AvengersEndame Monday- ₹ 31-32 cr nett. HISTORIC runs continues. Total- ₹ 189 cr nett," he tweeted on Tuesday morning.

India has emerged as the eighth top market for India. Entertainment Industry tracker Ramesh Bala shared the figures of overseas market and while North America ($350 million) and China ($330.50 million) are at the top two spots, the film has managed to earn $26.7 million from India alone. The top 8 markets for Endgame have been: NorthAmerica - $350 M, China - $330.50 M, UK - $53.8 M, Korea - $47.4 M, Mexico - $33.1 M, Australia - $30.8 M, Germany - $26.9 M, India - $26.7 M, 

The film has seen the biggest weekend for any release in India, beating big Bollywood releases by a massive margin. The record was held by Sanju which had earned Rs 120.06 crores in the first weekend, about Rs 37 crore less than what Endgame managed. Only 10 Bollywood films have got a Rs 100 weekend release so far. Ironically, Sanju is the only non-Khan film in the list and it is still at the top. 

Among Hollywood films, the last installment Avengers: Infinity War had managed a weekend of Rs. 94.30 crores. The next in line was Fast and the Furious 7 which had earned Rs 50.11 crore.

Movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted on Monday that it has been an unimaginable opening weekend for Avengers: Endgame. "#AvengersEndgame writes H-I-S-T-O-R-Y... Has a record-breaking, Blockbuster weekend... Unimaginable, unbelievable, unprecedented trending... Fri 53.10 cr, Sat 51.40 cr, Sun 52.70 cr. Total: ₹ 157.20 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 187.14 cr," he had tweeted. 

Interestingly, the film is running on just 2845 screens which is way less than what most Indian films get. It has collected 66.70% higher numbers than Avengers Infinity War. The latter had released on over 2000 screens.
