Article 15 released to a Rs 5.02 crore Friday and picked up over the weekend due to good reviews and positive word of mouth. It collected Rs 7.77 crore on Sunday, taking the overall collection to Rs 20.04 crore.

The film also managed to survive the India vs England match from the ICC ODI World Cup. Article 15 seems to be doing well in the metro cities which is driving the film's growth. Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh has continued its dominance at the box office and is inching towards the Rs 200 crore mark.
