The central government in 2019 had started a scheme to give monetary help to the farmers across the country. The farmers were supposed to be given Rs 6,000 annually by the Modi government under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KSNY).

The government has been aiming to double the income of the farmers in the country since its formation. PM-KSNY is the government's direct cash scheme for farmers. 

Under this scheme, the farmers are supposed to be given Rs 6000 in three tranches throughout the year, with Rs 2,000 in each installment. The central government has so far released the seven installments and is supposed to release the eighth installment soon.  

There are some farmers, who have registered under this scheme for support from the government but have not received money so far in their account. It is said that the PM-KSNY installment has been transferred from the government’s end, but does not reach the farmers' account.  

If you’re one of those farmers and the installment of Rs 2,000 is yet to be received, find the reason by falling these basic steps why your installment amount is being stuck.  

Here are the steps to check your PM-KSNY installment: 

Step 1 - Go to the official website of the government - https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2 - Now look for ‘Farmer’s Corner Section at the homepage. 

Step 3 - Select the‘ Beneficiary Status’ option. Here, the beneficiary can check his or her application status. The list will have the farmer’s name and the amount sent to his bank account. 

Step 4 - Now either enter your Aadhar Number or Account Number or Mobile Number. 

Step 5 - Then click on the ‘Get data’

To check 'PM Kisan beneficiary list' – Go to Farmers’ Corner and click on the beneficiary list. Then enter your State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village. After that click on Get report. 

Moreover, the government has also opened the helpdesk option in the portal to solve farmer's issues. Farmers can also open their accounts through Aadhaar card number after visiting this site.        

The farmers can also rectify any mistakes if any after entering the Aadhaar number, account number and mobile number on the official website link. All such mistakes can be corrected like correction of the Aadhaar number, mistakes in spelling.
