Aligarh Muslim University 100 years celebrations: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the centenary celebrations of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on Tuesday and hailed AMU for leading the fight against the Coronavirus in these difficult times. “Building isolation wards, plasma banks, getting thousands of tests done reflects your vision towards helping the society. Sending a large amount to PM Cares Fund to tackle this crisis is praiseworthy,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during the address.
PM Modi started by releasing postal stamp to mark the centenary celebrations of the AMU.

Addressing the centenary celebrations, Prime Minister said development should not be seen with the political prism. He said bank accounts of more than 40 crore people have been opened without any discrimination at all.
