Airbus arm UUO innovation created the napEazy travel pillow which is a multi-use comfort kit for the flyers to use not just as a neck pillow but to sleep in different postures during long-distance air travel.  Its use is not limited to air travel but can be used while traveling in car, coach or train. napEazy is an ergonomic product and offers a unique resting and sleeping experience to flyers to ease the pain of long-distance international flights.

The patented design was developed as an internal project by Airbus employees Pradipta Kishore Sahoo and Soham Narayan Patel at the Airbus India facilities in Bengaluru.

Suraj Chettri, Head of HR, Airbus India, and South Asia said that “Airbus always seeks to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. India has some of the most brilliant engineers on the planet and we are proud that we could support two of our employees to become full-time entrepreneurs with a thoughtful product.”

Airbus mentioned the expected launch of the comfort kit napEazy by August 2019. Initially, the napEazy kit will be launched globally on crowdfunding platforms KickStarter and IndieGoGo for pre-orders and then on other e-commerce sites.
