UIDAI has bought many services to make your Aadhaar card updation work hassle-free. So, if you want to update data on your Aadhaar card then this article is for you. Aadhaar updation can happen in 2 different ways - by visiting Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Online by using Self Service Update Portal. If you are opting for an offline process then you can update six kinds of data about your Aadhaar details such as Aadhaar enrolment, address update, photo/biometric update, name/gender/ DOB, mobile number/email id update and also get the Aadhaar download and coloured print. To get these updates you need to visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) near you with valid documents.

Fees involved in Aadhaar card updation:
As per UIDAI If you are updating your Aadhaar, either Demographic or Biometric, then you have to pay Rs. 50/- (including taxes) to the service provider each time you get your details updated. You can also click on “Charges for Various UIDAI Services at Aadhaar Kendra (PEC)” on uidai.gov.in for UIDAI approved Fee Structure.

2. Select any of the 3 options " State", " Postal code" or "Search box" given for nearest Enrolment centre.

3. Enter the details such as District, state, Dub district, village, enter the captcha

4. Click on " Locate a center"

5. You will get a list of centers available at your prefered location.

Recently, Aadhaar Seva Kendras were opened in Hisar, Chennai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Bhopal, Agra, Vijayawada and Patna.

Notably, these Aadhaar Seva Kendras have the capacity to handle up to 1000 Aadhaar enrolment or update requests per day.
