7th pay commission - Delhi Police Recruitment 2020: Amazing opportunity to work with this prestigious Sarkari organisation. The Delhi Police has announced an offer to fill 5846 vacant posts of constables. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon begin work on this. The positions advertised have vacancies for 3902 male candidates while 1944 female candidate.

Out of the 3902 vacancies, 3433 vacancies are for the position of male Constable EXE, 226 are for male ex-servicemen and 243 vacancies for ex-military commandos.    

The minimum qualification is 12th pass. The applicants should be between 18 and 25 years in general category, 18-28 years in OBC and 18-30 years in SC/ST categories.

After the selection of the candidates, the salary will be given as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The SSC is likely to put an information on this on its website ssc.nic.in soon.

The selection will be done based on a computer based exam which will be of 90 minutes. The exam will be of 90 marks with 0.25 marks for each wrong answers. The result of the Computer Based Examination shall be declared by the SSC.

The candidates who qualify the written test will be shall be called for appearing in the PE&MT Medical Examination. The candidates so selected shall be medically examined by Doctors in selected Government Hospitals in Delhi as per the prescribed standards.
