7th Pay Commission Pay Scale: India Post is inviting applications from meritorious sportspersons to fill several positions. It will be recruiting candidates on the posts of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman/Mail Guard and Multi-tasking Staff under sports quota for the vacancy years 2015- 16, 2016- 17, 2017-18, 2018 and 2019 in Haryana Postal Circle.

In all, recruitment for filling 58 vacancies have been advertised – 25 vacancies for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, 14 vacancies for Postman/Mail Guard and 19 for Multi-tasking Staf. All the positions offer attractive salary as prescribed under the 7th Pay Commission (CPC) pay scale guidelines. 

These positions have been advertised for 11 divisions in Haryana which include Ambala, Gurgaon, Hissar, Faridabad, Kurukshetra, Karnal and Rohtak.  

Last date of receipt of applications is 2 September 2020. For those in remote areas like Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir state the last date is 8 September 2020.  

Age limit as on the last date of application: 

 For the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Postman/Mail Guard:  18-27 years with relaxation of upper age limit up to a maximum of 5 years and as relaxed by Government of India for different categories. 
For the post of Multi-tasking Staff: 18-25 years as on the last date prescribed for receipt of applications with relaxation of upper age limit up to a maximum of 5 years and as relaxed by Government of India for different categories. 

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale, Level and Matrix:  

  1. Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant - Level 4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs 25,500-81,100) 
  2. Postman/Mail Guard – Level 3 in the Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700-69,100)  
  3. Multi-tasking Staff - Level 1 in the Pay Matrix (Rs 18,000-56,900)  

Application fee: 

The candidates shall have to pay application fee of Rs 100 through e-payment in the name of CPMG Staff Haryana (Biller IP 70004) at any of the computerised Post Office in India using Challan Form by 26 August 2020. Fee once paid shall not be refunded. Fee paid through any other mode will not be accepted and such application will be summarily rejected.
