7th Pay Commission: New salaries for Central Government employees from August 1?
The Empowered Committee of Secretaries was scheduled to meet in New Delhi on Saturday June 11, 2016 to given final touches to their recommendations. These will now be handed over to the finance ministry.
A leading financial daily has reported that nearly 1 crore central government employees and pensioners are set to recieve their higher pays from August 1.
Financial Express reported that the official working closely on the 7th Pay Commission recommendations for 47 lakh central government employees and 52 lakh pensioners have decided to implement new salaries from August 1.
