The Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG), New Delhi has invited applications from Indian Nationals for filling up the Group 'C' Posts of Auditor/Accountant/Clerk against Sports Quota  through Open Advertisement  for  the year 2019 under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix of Level 2 and Level 5. Notably, the closing date for receipt of applications is 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. The number of vacancies is indicative and may undergo change anytime.

According to the notification, "Indian Audit and Accounts Department (IA&AD) invites applications from Indian Nationals for filling up the Group 'C' Posts of Auditor/Accountant/Clerk against Sports Quota  through Open Advertisement for the year 2019.  Recruitment will be made in the Games/Sports of Cricket (Men), Football (Men), Hockey (Men), Badminton (Men and Women) and Table Tennis (Men and Women)." 

Eligibility
The candidates should be sportspersons who have represented a State or the Country in a National (Senior/Junior Category) or International  competitions  (Senior/Junior Category) in any Game/Sports mentioned at  serial number 1 above; Or they should be sportspersons  who  have  represented  their University in All India Inter‐University Tournaments conducted by the Inter‐University Sports Board in any Game/Sports mentioned at serial number 1 above. 

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale 
Auditor/Accountant:
The candidates will get salary of Level 5 in the Pay Matrix (Pre‐revised Pay in the Pay Band Rs 5200‐20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2800)
 
Clerk: The candidates will get salary of of Level 2 in the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix (Pre‐revised Pay in the Pay Band Rs. 5200‐20200 with Grade Pay Rs 1900. 

Educational Qualification
Auditor/Accountant:
The candidates should have Bachelor's Degree of a recognised University. The persons selected for the post of Auditor/Accountant will have to qualify the Departmental Confirmatory Test for Auditor/Accountant within two years from the date of their appointment. 

Clerk: The candidates should have 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University. The persons selected for the post of Clerk will have to qualify the Typing Test after appointment. 

Notaby, failure to pass the typing test (for clerk) and confirmatory test (for Auditor/ Accountant) will render the Clerk/Auditor /Accountant, as the case may be, liable for discharge from service. 

Age Limit  
The candidates for Auditor/Accountant should be between 18 and 27 years, while the aspirants for Clerk should be between 18 and 27 years. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the last date of receipt of application. The  upper  age  limit  for  the  posts  of  Auditor/Accountant/Clerk is relaxable for government employees as per extant government orders. 

Categories of sportspersons may be allowed relaxation of upper age limit upto a maximum of 5 years (10 years in the case of SC/ST and 8 years in the case of OBC). This concession is  admissible  to  those  Sportspersons  who  satisfy  all  other  eligibility  conditions  relating  to  education qualifications etc.

Selection process
The candidates will be selected by the concerned Nodal Office with the help of a Selection Committee constituted for the purpose. All applications and certificates shall be scrutinised and the list of eligible applicants shall be prepared by the Nodal Offices. Final selection will be done on the basis of field trial marks and marks awarded for sports certificates (participation and achievements).
