7th Pay Commission latest news: The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation has issued job notification for the post of Public Health Engineers in various 7th CPC Levels. The total number of vacancies issued in the notification is five. Out of these five vacancies, one is for the post of Additional Advisor (Public Health Engineer - PHE), two for Deputy Advisor (Public Health Engineer - PHE) and two for the post of Assistant Advisor (Public Health Engineer - PHE). The applicant should have a deep understanding of the rural water supply sector. The last date for receipt of the application for the above-mentioned posts is 24th March 2020. Out of five vacancies, one vacancy is for the post of Additional Advisor (Public Health Engineer - PHE) in Level-13A. After successful completion of the recruitment process, the appointee will be given 7th Pay Commission pay and perks, as approved by the Central Government, which means Rs 1,31,100 to Rs 2,16,600 pay scale is up for the grab by interested and eligible candidates. The selected candidate will be appointed in non-ministerial Gazetted Group A rank.

Two vacancies are for the post of Deputy Advisor (Public Health Engineer - PHE) in Level-12 rank. After selection, a successful candidate will be given a 7th CPC pay scale of Rs 78,800 to Rs 2,09,200. This means a successful candidate will get an initial salary of Rs 78,800 per month after recruitment.

As per the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation job notification, two vacancies are for the post of Assistant Advisor (Public Health Engineer - PHE) in Level-11 rank. After completion of the recruitment process successfully, a candidate will be given non-ministerial Group A Gazetted rank and his or her pay scale will be Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.
