7th Pay Commission: Some of the best salaries for the relevant posts are on offer in this special recruitment drive by the central government. India Post has invited applications for the recruitment of Staff Car Drivers. The selected candidates would fall under the pay matrix level 2 as per 7th pay commission. Interested candidates can apply for the post on or before December 24, 2018. There are a total 19 vacancies for the driver posts. Interested candidates who wish to apply for the post must be within the age bracket of 18 to 27 years.
The last date of receipt of application forms with required documents is 24 December. The application should be submitted offline at “The Assistant Director (Recruitment), O/o Chief Postmaster General, UP Circle, Hazratganj, Lucknow -226001,” through registered post/ speed post only. It is to be noted that the candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. The selected candidates would be in two years of probation for direct recruits or re-employed.

Age Limit:
Candidates applying for the post must be within the age bracket of 18 to 27 years.
Education Qualification
a. Candidates applying for the post must have completed class 10 from a recognised board or institute.
b. Applicants must have an experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicles for at least 3 years and must have driving license, and should have knowledge in motor mechanism.
Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 as per the level 2 of 7th Pay Commission (CPC).
Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates would be done on the basis of a driving test to assess their competency to drive light or heavy motor vehicles. The date and the venue of the test will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates.
