7th Pay Commission - As per the rules of the 7th pay commission, the selected candidate, after passing recruitment tests will be given a level-2 7th CPC pay scale
7th Pay Commission: For all those candidates who wish to bag a prestigious government job, here is a latest news. India Post Office (IPO) has announced jobs for different positions in the government. The total number of posts as per the IPO notification stands at 8 and the 7th CPC pay scale for the mentioned posts is set at Level-2.
Last date to apply: The interested candidates can send their applications by 29 February 2020. The selected candidates after fulfilling the selection procedure will be entitled to a Level-2 pay scale as per the rules of the 7th pay commission. According to the rules of the 7th pay commission, the selected candidate will be entitled to the pay of Rs 19900 per month which will be a Level-2 scale.
As per the selection procedure, posts for a motor vehicle mechanic, welder, tinsmith, blacksmith, and tyreman will be filled.
The eligibility criteria for application for the following posts is that the candidate should have a passing certificate of class 8th along with a technical degree of the respective post. The applicant should have at least one year of experience in the respective job. A candidate who applies for the post of Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) should possess a valid Driving Licence to drive Heavy Vehicles.
The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years while the maximum age should not exceed 30 years. The age will be considered from 1 July 2020, For SC/ST candidates the upper limit of the age is extended by 5 years while for the OBC applicant the upper limit has been relaxed by 3 years.
Application Procedure
The separate application should be sent for each trade post in separate envelop and the candidate should superscribe the post applied for on the envelope & Application, which should be addressed to 'The Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service, 134-a, S. K. Ahire Marg, Worli, Mumbai-400018. and should be sent through Speed Post/Registered Post only.
