Today is a very special moment for the NDA government as their leader Narendra Modi celebrates his 4th anniversary as the Prime Minister of India. Modi led the BJP's campaign in the 2014 general election, which led to the party bagging a massive majority in the Lok Sabha. Thereafter, PM Modi in his four year reign has introduced various schemes that affected virtually each aspect of the citizens' life, from toilets, affordable housing to delivery of subsidies in new form. Not to forget, he also launched a drive against black money through his demonetisation move and also brought the country under the umbrella of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. And today Modi listed out his government’s achievement and even launched a survey on his official Twitter account asking citizens to vote on reforms inked by him.

Modi on his handle said, “On this day in 2014, we began our journey of working towards India’s transformation.” He added, “Over the last four years, development has become a vibrant mass movement, with every citizen feeling involved in India's growth trajectory. 125 crore Indians are taking India to great heights!”

Further, Modi said, “I bow to my fellow citizens for their unwavering faith in our Government. This support and affection is the biggest source of motivation and strength for the entire Government. We will continue to serve the people of India with the same vigour and dedication.”

The PM also emphasized on India stating that the country will always be first. He also laid out  futuristic and people-friendly decisions that are laying the foundations of a New India.

He even launched a video with an tagline #SaafNiyatSahiVikas - stressing the country’s trust in his government.

To take things ahead, Modi launched a survey on NaMo app, saying, “It is your voice that counts! Tell me what you feel about the working of the Central Government, its initiatives and the development work in your constituency.”

In this survey one can rate the central government’s working in sections like affordable healthcare, employment opportunities, rural electrification, farmer prosperity and fight against corruption.

Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on 26 May 2014 and thereby became the first PM born after India's Independence from the British Empire.

Notably, in what is going to hold India in good stead globally, under his leadership, the country jumped to 100th rank in the 2018 Ease of Doing Business ranking by World Bank.
