2.0 Box office collection: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is considered to be a money magnet, with most of his films earning over Rs 100 crore at the box office. He has had a fantastic run of scoring back to back centuries on a number of occasions. That said, Kumar has paired with another superstar Rajnikanth and there is no mistake that this actor resides in hearts of every Indian especially the entire southern region. Rajnikanth and Kumar's 2.0 has made an extraordinary box office collections overtaking the leading Khans of the Bollywood industry. The movie surrounds distress caused by a deadly winged monster played by Akshay who forces Dr. Vaseegaran (played by Rajinikanth) to reassemble his robot Chitti. Hence, the movie has good 3D effects and is centred around a battle between Chitti and the monster. The mission is to save the world. Other supporting actors of this movie are Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.

The movie within a week's time has already crossed over Rs 100 crore mark. The movie was released in some 10,000 screens worldwide. Among the total, about 4,000 screens are reportedly already reserved for Hindi version.

In hindi version, the movie only bagged Rs 20.25 crore on opening day, however, by end of opening weekend - 2.0 was sitting on another Rs 97.25 crore. This makes an overall collection of Rs 111 crore in a week's time. 

Guess what! 2.0 has already made a collection of massive Rs 258.3 crore in a week. How? Well to your suprise 2.0 is a blockbuster in all languages including Hindi version, hence the collection in week's time is Rs 258.3 crore in all languages. 

That said, this movie has already overtaken Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan and Salman Khan's Race 3 where both the movie bagged Rs 143.25 crore and 169.25 crore till now. 

If this the case, 2.0 may as well soon outrun the most hit movie of 2018 namely Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju. 

Revolving around the live of Sanjay Dutt, the movie Sanju played by Ranbir Kapoor as lead actor, has a box office collection of Rs 336.19 crore so far this year since release. 

The film is directed by S Shankar and it is reportedly made at a Rs 600 cr. The fim is appreciated by the audience for its visualisation as it is shot in 3D format. 

2.0 has been predicted to clock over Rs 500 crore mark overall. If this is the case, the Rs 500 crore club would be a first of both Akshay Kumar and Rajnikanth.
