Santosh Gajander Singh sold to 50,000 shares of Total Exports at Rs. 6.79 each in a bulk deal, which was later purchased by him in trading session valuing at Rs. 0.033 crore.
Bank Nifty dips 100 points at 17,619.10. Canara Bank was the only top gainer by ending marginally up at Rs. 211.15.
NSE Nifty managed to hold its 8200 mark. The index ended 8,219.90 down 18.60 points or 0.23%, with 14 advances and 37 declines.
ONGC was among the top gainer on Sensex, as investors hold their position on the stock. The stock ended at Rs. 216.75 up 1.38%. Total traded quantity was around 3.63 lakh shares against two weeks average quantity of 2.90 lakh shares.
The 30-stock index was heavily negative with 8 advances and 22 declines. Total turnover stood at Rs. 269.90 crore with volume of 6,020,982.
Sensex shrinks over 90 points at 26,775.32 on Tuesday's trading session, despite firm Asian cues.
Nifty holds 8200 mark.

ONGC can be preferred for trading. The stock of the company is current trading at Rs. 217.90 up 1.92%. Total traded quantity stood at Rs. 2.77 lakh compared to two weeks average quantity of Rs. 2.90 lakh.
Domestic equity indices trading flat
NSE is trading flat at 8,221.65. The index is negative with 18 advances, 31 declines and 2 remaining unchanged.
At 1.13 pm, Sensex was trading at 26,821.90 down 45.02 points or 0.17%. The index was negative with 12 advances and 18 declines.
Top 30-stock index losers were, Gail India dips by 1.61%, followed by NTPC at Rs. 151.60 (1.59%), Asian Paints at Rs. 978.60 (1.34%), Axis Bank at Rs. 519.25 (1.03%) and Hindustan Unilever down marginally at Rs. 871.10.
Top five gainers on Sensex were, Mahindra & Mahindra at Rs. 1,365 up 1.05%, followed by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories at Rs. 3,083.65 surges 0.72%, ONGC at Rs. 215.35 up 0.72%. Coal India and Bajaj Auto both were marginally up trading at Rs. 313.65 and Rs. 2,624.70.
NSE too faced the selling sentiments of investor. The index is trading at 8,217.25 down 21.25.
Despite firm Asian cues, Sensex faces selling pressure trading at 26,804.75 down 65 points.
Logistic stocks zoomed on BSE led by GST hopes. Majority of stocks were in green, Kesar Terminal & Infrastructure surges over 75 points or 16.61% at Rs. 529.35, Gati Ltd was trading at Rs. 163 rising 6.71% and AllCargo Logistics was trading at Rs. 167 up 4.83%.
Indraprastha Gas Limited surges 1.30% trading at Rs. 625.05 has its peer MGL opens for IPO. The script opened at Rs. 623 higher from its previous closing of Rs. 617. Total traded quantity was similar at Rs. 0.83 lakh from its two weeks average quantity.
Sensex, NSE trades flat on mixed asian cues.
Rupee recovers after previous lows due to Rajan exit. The local currency is trading at 67.440 up 0.160 points or 0.24%.
PSU banks were trading in green on NSE. Majority of stocks surged with Punjab National Bank as top gainer trading at Rs. 98.15 up 1.71%. Bank of Baroda stood and State Bank of India both were stable trading at Rs.152 and Rs. 216.20.
Bank Nifty slumped 73 points on index, trading at 17,645.60. Total turnover stood at Rs. 319.44 crore with volume of 150.62 lakh.
GAIL India was among the top gainer as its MGL IPO is to be offered for sale. The stock of the company was trading at Rs. 390.50 up 1.40%. It opened at Rs. 390 above from its previous close of Rs. 385.10. It has touched a high and low of Rs. 392 and Rs. 388.45 respectively. Total traded quantity was around Rs. 0.42 lakh against two weeks average quantity of Rs. 1.76 lakh.
NSE Nifty started in green on Tuesday morning session. The index was trading at 8,255.40 up 17 points. It remain positive with 32 advance, 18 declines and 1 unchanged.
BSE Sensex opens 40.50 points up at 26,907.42, from its previous closing of 26,866.92. Overall the index was positive with 20 advances, 5 declines, 1 unchanged and 4 not traded.
