CBSE class 10 class 12 practical exams: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) practical exams for class 10 and class 12 students are starting from today, March 1.
Exam dates
The board has allowed the schools to complete the practical exams by June 11. Incidentally, June 11 is also the last date for the theory exams. Source: PTI
CBSE guidelines
For conducting the practical exams including internal assessments and projects works, the CBSE has issued a set of guidelines. It has stated that the exams will be conducted at the respective schools of the students and the school authorities will have to upload the marks immediately after the exam. Source: PTI
Letter to school heads
In a letter to the principals and heads of the schools, the CBSE has stated that both external and internal examiners will be present during the exam. Source: PTI
Sanitisation of labs
The students will be divided into two sub-groups with 25 students in each. The labs where the exam will be conducted have to be sanitised before holding the exam. Source: PTI
COVID-19 protocols
The schools need to organise separate entry and exit points for the students. The students and the staffs should maintain social distancing and wear masks during the entire course of the exams. Source: PTI
