WBBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams Latest News: The West Bengal Class 10 Class 12 Board Exam 2021 have to wait for some more time for a decision on the Madhyamik Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and Higher Secondary Class 12 Board Exam 2021. A press conference on the West Bengal Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 was supposed to be held today, however, it has been called off.

On May 27, 2021, while addressing the media, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that the Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 will be held in July and August from their respective schools. The West Bengal Chief Minister had also stated that the Class 12 Higher Secondary Board Exams 2021 will be conducted in the last week of July and the Class 10 Madhyamik Board Exams 2021 will be conducted in the second week of August. The state government decided to conduct the West Bengal Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021 in a shorter format and within the school premises. The state government had also formed an expert committee for the issue. The schedule for the Class 10 Madhyamik Board Exam 2021 and Class 12 Higher Secondary Board Exam 2021 was supposed to be released today. 

However, the press conference which was supposed to take place today at 2 PM has been cancelled. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has issued a notification calling off the press conference. The notification stated, "This is to notify to all concerned media personnel that the joint press conference scheduled to be held today i.e. on 02.06.2021 at 2 PM at the Vidyasagar Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata, regarding Madhyamik Examination and Higher Secondary Examination 2021 is hereby declared cancelled." 

Incidentally, the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was cancelled yesterday after a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has notified that the results of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be prepared on the basis of a well-defined objective criteria. Soon after CBSE's decision to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, the CISCE also cancelled the ISC Class 12 Board Exam 2021. Now, what is decided for the West Bengal Class 10 Madhyamik Board Exam 2021 and Higher Secondary Class 12 Board Exam 2021 have to be seen.
