UPSC NDA, NA examination 2021 date: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the date of the examination for the National Defence Academy (NDA)-I and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I)
UPSC NDA, NA examination 2021 date: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the date of the examination for the National Defence Academy (NDA)-I and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I). As per the notification, an examination will be conducted by the UPSC on 18th April, 2021 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 147th Course, and for the 109th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January, 2022.
Interested candidates can apply for it at upsconline.nic.in on or before January 19 till 6 pm. Online applications can be withdrawn from January 27 to February 2 till 6 pm.
Total 400 vacancies are to be filled under this drive, including 370 in NDA (Army-208, Navy-42, Air Force-120) and 30 Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme).
Candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in) for being downloaded by candidates. No Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2005 are eligible.
As far as educational qualification are concerned, for Army Wing of National Defence Academy, 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :—12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
