The Tripura Board has postponed the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2021 examination. This was due to the ongoing second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier, the TJEE 2021 was scheduled to take place on June 23, 2021.

The Board has issued the notice that reads: "The Tripura Joint Entrance Exam scheduled for 23 June 2021 is being put on hold due to unavoidable circumstances. The new dates will be announced on the board's website."

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination will be conducted in three shifts, through the Optical Marks Recognition (OMR) system. The Board will announce the new exam date soon.

Generally, the Board conducts Joint Entrance Examination in the month of April for preparation of merit list to select students/candidates for admission to different professional degree courses, such as Engineering, Technological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries and Paramedical Courses.
