Telangana Class 12 Practical Exam Postponed: The Telangana Intermediate Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students must note that the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has postponed the practical exams for the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students, that is the intermediate students.

As per a report by The Times of India, the practical exams for intermediate second year general courses and first- and second-year vocational courses were scheduled to commence from May 29, 2021, and continue till June 7, 2021, This decision of the postponement of Telangana Class 12 Intermediate Board Exam 2021 practicals have been taken keeping in view the COVID-19 induced lockdown in the state. 

It has been further noted that a review meeting on the same will take place in the first week of June and the future dates will be announced 15 days prior to the practical exams. 

Last week on May 21, 2021,  Telangana State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results were declared. This year, the students were evaluated on the basis of internal assessment.  The exam was scheduled to be held from May 17 to May 26, however, due to the second wave of COVID-19, the state government had to cancel the board exams.

Coming back to the Telangana Class 12 Intermediate practical exams 2021, earlier Omar Jaleel, Secretary, TSBIE said that the state board will go forward with the Class 12 Intermediate Board Exam 2021 without any change in the existing pattern. 

As per the TOI report, during the national-level consultation meeting held by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Jaleel said, "Almost all states batted for holding exams but with precautions of vaccination for students and staff. In Telangana, we will go ahead without changing the existing pattern." He further noted that the exam time will be reduced to 90 minutes and the possibility of conducting the exam from mid-July to September was discussed. 

Incidentally, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. It is also expected that a decision the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will also be announced by June 1, 2021.
