CBSE registration date for Class 10, Class 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for the payment of board examination registration for Class 10 and Class 12 students without late fee till October 31. The decision has been taken keeping in view the problem faced by students and their parents due to Coronavirus pandemic.

CBSE will also open registration window from November 1 to November 7 for those students, who for some reasons miss out the October 31 deadline. The students registering for their respective board exams during this period, however, will have to pay an additional late fee. However, it is yet not clear what will be the late fee charged by CBSE. 

Announcing extension in date for submission of registration fee on it official website, CBSE wrote," Looking into the problems faced by schools and parents, the last date for submission of LOC for Class X and XII for 2021 exams without late fee has been extended from 15.10.20 to 31.10.20 and with late fee from 1.11.20 to 7.11.20 .  

Earlier the students had to register for their Class 10 and Class 12 boards on or before October 15. 

It also announced new dates for registration for Class IX and Class XI. Taking to tweeter, the board twitted,” To bring relief to school and parents the last dates for registration in Class IX & XI have been extended from 4-11-20 to 19-11-20 without late fee and from 20-11-20 to 28-11-20 with late fees. ”

Earlier, the Delhi Government had also written to the CBSE asking to extend the registration dates. Last month, It had also requested the CBSE for waiver off the entire examination fee, as a one-time measure, to which the board had expressed its inability to do so.
