The Rajasthan Education Ministry has announced a new date to conduct the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam For Teachers (REET) 2021 examination. The state education minister Govind Singh Dotasra has said that the REET 2021 will take place on September 26.

The government had postponed the REET 2021 due to the rising cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state earlier. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held on April 25. The decision was taken to ensure the health and safety of candidates, teachers, and those involved in the examination process.

For the second time, the exam got deferred on June 20. The exam is conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and the board will release the revised schedule soon.

In a tweet, Dotasra has said, "It has been decided to conduct the exam on September 26.  Applications for EWS candidates will be accepted from June 21 to July 5. Soon the Board of Secondary Education will release the revised release." 

The Rajasthan government had earlier allowed making changes in the REET 2021 exam release. It was expected that the economically weaker sections (EWS) category application may get some relaxation.  

For the EWS candidates, the registration window will open on June 21, and they can submit their applications till July 5.
