On this, Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra will meet Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and will make a decision soon. The state government wants to complete this in June month.

If the process will start again then it is expected to get over 2 lakh applications. The reason to get a record application is due to allowing the first level of B. ED degree applications.

The government had postponed the REET 2021 due to the rising cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state. The exam was earlier scheduled for June 20. It has been now deferred until further notice.

The new date for the REET 2021 exam is expected soon. This is the second time when the REET 2021 has been suspended. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held on April 25. The decision has been taken to ensure the health and safety of candidates, teachers, and those involved in the examination process.
