The JEE Main 2021 session 3 exams were completed on July 27, 2021. The NTA JEE Mains 2021 session 3 candidates must be eagerly waiting for their results. There is a common query among the candidates that how does NTA decides on the merit list in case of a tie. The NTA follows a special process to determine the cases where there is a tie in the score. The NTA JEE Mains 2021 session 3 candidates must note that the merit is determined by converting the raw scores in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and total in to NTA scores. The overall merit will be prepared by merging NTA scores of all shifts of all days. 

Now,  if there is a tie between candidates obtaining equal total NTA scores in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be resolved in the following descending order - NTA score in Mathematics, followed by NTA score in Physics, followed by NTA score in Chemistry, followed by the candidates having a lesser ratio of negative to positive responses.

For NTA JEE Mains 2021 session 3, exams for paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) was conducted.  the NTA JEE Mains 2021 session 3 exams were conducted on August 3, 2021 and August 4, 2021 for the candidates from some of the regions of Maharashtra who were unable to appear for the exam due to rain.

The provisional answer keys for NTA JEE Mains 2021 were released on the JEE Main website on July 29, 2021. The candidates had the chance to challenge the answer keys till July 31, 2021. The NTA JEE Mains 2021 session 3 candidates must note that the challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised final answer key, the NTA JEE Mains results 2021 will be prepared and declared.
