NEET UG 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the resumption of the pending sessions of the JEE Main 2021 exams. However, no announcement on NEET UG 2021 has been made yet. The aspirants willing to appear for this prestigious medical entrance exam must keep an eye on the official NTA website at nta.nic.in, as well as the official website of NEET UG 2021 at ntaneet.nic.in.

Recently, NTA has issued a public notice clarifying that a fake public notice has been circulated through various means including social media with the subject line, 'Conduct of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) - 2021'. This fake public notice further stated that the NEET UG 2021 Exam will be conducted on September 5, 2021. In this regard also NTA vehemently denied that no such public notice has been issued on their part.

NTA informed that the agency is still in consultation with the stakeholders for finalising a date for NEET UG 2021, keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state. The NTA had released a notification on March 12, 2021, informing that the NEET UG 2021 Exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode on August 1, 2021. However, the registration for the exam has not yet been started. The notification mentioned that information bulletin consisting of detailed information and the submission of the application form will start on the official NEET website at ntaneet.nic.in, however, nothing has started yet.

It must be noted that as the resumption of the pending sessions of the JEE Main 2021 Exams have been announced, the schedule for NEET UG 2021 can be announced soon. The NEET UG 2021 candidates must note that they need to keep certain documents handy for filling the online application form. These documents are as follows:

1) Scanned image of the latest passport size photograph of the candidate

2) Scanned image of the candidate's postcard size photograph

3) Scanned image of the candidate's signature

4) Scanned image of the candidate's left hand thumb impression

5) Scanned image of Class 10 passing certificate

The NEET UG 2021 aspirants must check the NTA and NEET websites regularly at nta.nic.in and ntaneet.nic.in, respectively, for any updates on the exams.
