NEET JEE 2021 Latest News: With the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 cancelled, the students are now concerned about the competitive exams. The two most important exams for the students are JEE Mains and NEET. As of now, no official announcement has been made on the remaining cycles of JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 exams. However, the Ministry of Education will soon review the situation to decide on conducting the two remaining editions of engineering entrance exams JEE-Mains and medical entrance exam NEET in August.

A source was quoted as saying by news agency PTI, "A review meeting is likely to be conducted soon to decide on the schedule of the pending editions of JEE-Mains and whether NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1."

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the JEE Main 2021 was planned to be conducted in four cycles. The February and March sessions have been completed and the results have been declared. However, due to the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the JEE Main 2021, April and May sessions had to be postponed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued notifications on the postponement of JEE Main 2021 April and May session exams.

As far as the NEET UG 2021 Exam was concerned, the NTA had released a notification on March 12, 2021, informing that the NEET UG 2021 Exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode on August 1, 2021. However, the registration for the exam has not yet been started. The notification mentioned that information bulletin consisting of detailed information and the submission of the application form will start on the official NEET website, however, nothing has commenced so far.

Incidentally, last week, the JEE Advanced 2021 Exam which was scheduled to take place on July 3, 2021, has also been postponed and it has been notified that the revised date will be announced in an appropriate time. Also, due to the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases because of the second wave of the pandemic, the NEET PG 2021 Exam which was scheduled to take place on April 18, 2021, has also been postponed till further notice.

On Tuesday, after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was called off and it was notified that an objective criteria will be formulated for evaluating the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students. In this scenario, it is expected that some announcements on the JEE Main 2021 Exams and NEET UG 2021 Exams can be made anytime soon.

The JEE Mains and NEET UG 2021 aspirants are requested to keep an eye on the official website of NTA at nta.nic.in for any lastest updates on the aforesaid exams.
