NEET 2020 result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the NEET-UG Result 2020 today, October 16. The NEET 2020 results will be declared on the official website - ntaneet.nic.in. The candidates who appeared for the exams can check the result on the mentioned website, once declared. This year around 15.97 lakh candidates were registered for the NEET 2020, however, only 85-90% of them appeared in the exam that was held on September 13.

Several of these candidates failed to appear for the exam because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank wished all the best to NEET candidates ahead of results. “DG NTA is announcing the results of #NEETUG 2020 today. I wish all the best to the candidates,” he tweeted.

Enter roll number, date of birth and submit  

Results will appear on the screen  

Download it, and take a print out for future reference 

According to the details given, the candidates need to obtain a minimum 50th percentile in NEET. For those belonging to reserved categories including SC and ST category, the minimum marks are 40th percentile and for PwD candidates it is 45th percentile.   

The NTA had earlier an OMR sheet on October 5 and also provided candidates with an option to challenge the responses. The facility to challenge the NEET OMR answer sheets was available from October 5 to October 7 (6 pm). For every question challenged, candidates were required to pay a sum of Rs 1000 online as the processing fee. The payment was to be made up to 8 pm on October 7, 2020, through Debit/credit card/net banking.
