KVS Class 1 Admission List 2021-22 Postponed: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has postponed the release date for the provisional selection list for KVS class 1 admission 2021. The KVS has notified about the postponement on the official KVS website at kvsonlineadmission. kvs.gov.in.

The provisional selection and waiting list for the registered candidates for KVS class 1 admission was scheduled to release tomorrow, April 23, 2021. However, it has been postponed due to the unprecedented rise in the number of COVID-19 cases all over the country. The parents and guardians of the registered candidates can check the official notification by visiting the above-mentioned website.

The online registration for KVS class 1 admission 2021 started on April 1, 2021. The last date for the online registration was April 19, 2021. The first selection and waiting lists were supposed to release tomorrow. Based on the vacancies left after the first list, the second and the third lists were scheduled to be released on April 30, 2021, and May 5, 2021. Though the first selection list of KVS class 1 admission 2021 has been postponed, the postponement of the latter two lists have not been made on the KVS website as of now.

The guardians of KVS class 1 2021 candidates must note the method of admission in class 1. Out of the available seats of fresh admission 25% shall be reserved for Right To Education (RTE), 15% shall be reserved for SC, 7.5% shall be reserved for ST and 27% seats shall be reserved for “OBC- Non Creamy Layer” (OBC-NCL).

The reservation norms shall be applicable within approved class strength 40 students per section:

RTE 25% - 10 seats

SC 15% - 6 seats

ST 7.5% - 3 seats

OBC 27% - 11 seats

The parents and guardians of KVS class 1 candidates are requested to keep an eye on  kvsonlineadmission. kvs.gov.in for the revised date of the first selection list and other admission related information.
