Considering the current situation in the state, Karnataka will hold Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC Class 10 Board) exam 2021 in the third week of July, according to PTI.

On the other hand, the state government has cancelled second-year Pre-Univ (Class 12) exams, informed Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar.

The students of the Karnataka state board have been demanding the state government to cancel SSLC and PUC exams. Students have expressed their concerns over writing board exams 2021 in the current pandemic situation with the high number of COVID-19 cases in the state. 

The Class 10 SSLC exams will be conducted in the third week of July after considering the COVID situation in the state, the state government has said. At the same time, if students, who miss the exams in July due to COVID-related reasons, will be allowed to take the exams later. 

To evaluate the students of the second year PUC, the Board will consider Class 10th and PUC 1st marks of the students. The Karnataka PUC result of the student graduation list will be released between June 25-30, 2021. 

The Core subjects’ exams like Science, Mathematics and Social Science and Languages will not be conducted to fail any students of Class 10 SSLC exam, the state government has informed. 

The Karnataka Government will conduct two exams for Class 10. One for Science, Maths and Social Science for multiple choice questions (MCQ) and the other for the Languages.
