JEE Main 2021 April Session Exam Date: The JEE Main 2021 April session exams is set to commence from tomorrow, July 20, 2021, and will continue till July 25, 2021. The JEE Main 2021 candidates appearing for the April session exams must note that for this session, exams for B.E/ B.Tech (Paper 1) will be conducted. The admit cards for the exam are available on the JEE Main 2021 website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2021 candidates appearing for the third session must also check the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) at nta.nic.in.

The JEE Main 2021 April session candidates must remember certain points before appearing for the exam. They are as follows: 

1) The JEE Main 2021 April session will conduct exams for B.E/ B.Tech (Paper 1) from July 20, 2021, till July 25, 2021

2) Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the number of cities has been increased from 232 to 334 and the number of examination centres in each shift have increased from 660 to 828

3) The JEE Main 2021 paper 1 will be held in a computer-based test mode only 

4) For B.E/B.Tech in CBT mode, there will be MCQs from three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Each subject will be divided into two sections - Section A and Section B. Section A will consist of 20 questions. Section B will consist of 10 questions out of which the candidates will have to answer any five questions. The total marks for the exam will be 300. 

5) Each question will consist of four marks and an incorrect answer will earn a negative marking of -1. 

6) The JEE Main 2021 candidates must remember that there will be no negative marking for Section B. 

7) The JEE Main 2021 candidates are advised to reach the exam centres  well in advance, at least two hours before the commencement of the exam

8) A seat indicating the roll number will be allotted to each candidate

9) The JEE Main 2021 candidates must take their seats immediately after the exam hall opens

10) The candidates must bring the following documents with them on the day of the exam: 

a) A printout of the admit card from the NTA website

b) One passport size photograph, the same as uploaded in the online application form

c) Any authorised photo ID card like school ID card/ PAN/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar/ Passport etc. 

d) PwD certificate authorised by medical officer if applicable
