Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021 has been postponed recently by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board due to surge in Covid 19 cases across the country.  However, GSEB Class 10 students are seeking cancellation of the exam due to spiraling coronavirus cases on a daily basis.

From May 5 to 18, 2021, the Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021 were scheduled to be conducted. However, the Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021 and Class 12 exams have been postponed deferred to a later date, as per the announcement made by CMO Gujarat. Whereas the new dates will be announced on May 15, 2021. 

The official announcement on Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021 read, “In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gujarat state government decides to postpone Class 10 and 12 board exams, scheduled to be held between May 10 to 25, 2021, and mass promotion for students of Class 1 to 9 and 11. The new revised dates will be announced after reviewing the coronavirus situation on May 15”. 

CBSE, CISCE, and several other state boards have already cancelled their class 10 board exams. And would release the results on the basis of internal assessment, as decided. 

By looking at the prevailing situation, students and peers of the GSEB board have also demanded to cancel Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021.  

The authorities need to look upon alternate ways of evaluating the students of Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021. Students and peers are, however, advised to keep checking for updates on Gujarat Class 10 Board Exams 2021.
