CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2021: Settling all speculations concerning conduct of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams and the exam pattern, the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE has made big announcement concerning these exams. It has categorically denied the rumour that suggested CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams would be held in online mode in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

The rumour around CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2021 pattern, whether it would be online or written, was finding strength from the fact that the in order to protect CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 students from Covid 19 infection, the board might hold examinations in digital mode only. However, this has all been settled now with an official notification from the CBSE.  

As per a report by IANS, the Central Board of Secondary Education has said the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2021 will be conducted in the conventional written mode, adding there was no proposal to conduct the exams online.

"The board examinations of 2021 will be in the regular written manner and not online," the CBSE stated.

However, the CBSE is yet to take a call on examination dates of Class 10 and Class 12 exams, officials said.

Ministry of Education feels it is pertinent to conduct the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2021 to ensure the progress as well as better future of the students.

As far as CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2021 exam dates are concerned, there are two sets of opinions doing the rounds, one that feels exams should be conducted on time to ensure competitive exams like NEET and JEE are not delayed, while another feels it should be delayed to give students more time to prepare for their exams.  

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will also communicate directly with students, parents and teachers through webinars on three different dates to bring more clarity about exam dates.

This year, amid the pandemic and `new normal` scheme of things, a wide range of discussions have been underway among students, parents and teachers regarding the examinations.
From registration of board exams to classroom operations, everything is being conducted virtually.

Union Education Minister Nishank had said: "Online education is a big challenge for students who are constantly away from school and college. But students should always be ready to turn this challenge into an opportunity."

In view of all such possibilities, the government has taken a new initiative to conduct the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2021 in a timely manner amid the Covid-19 situation.

The Education Minister has planned a three-stage dialogue with the alumni, parents and teachers for conducting the examinations. He is likely to communicate directly with students, parents and teachers through webinars on three different dates.
