ICSE ISC Exam Schedule: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced on Saturday that the first term board exams for class 10 and 12 will be conducted in offline mode. The CISCE has also released the revised date sheets and the ICSE and ISC 2022 board exam candidates can check the dates by logging into the official website of CISCE at cisce.org.

In the revised schedule, the council has stated that the ISC semester 1 exam is slated to begin from November 22, 2021 and will continue till December 20, 2021.

Again, ICSE semester 1 exam is scheduled to begin from November 29, 2021 and will end on December 16, 2021.

The CISCE has issued a letter to the heads of the schools presenting candidates for ICSE and ISC board exams for the academic year 2022 that stated, "The CISCE has been in receipt of numerous mails from heads of schools, parents and students who had expressed their difficulties and apprehensions if first semester exam were to be conducted online."

The letter from Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive, CISCE, also informed that some of the major concerns expressed were:

1) Non-availability of devices'

2) Irregular power supply

3) Network and Bandwidth problems

The convenors and heads of the schools must note that the detailed guidelines for conducting the ICSE and ISC semester 1 exams will be shared with them shortly. The ICSE semester 1 exams will start from 11 AM. The ISC semester 1 exams will commence from 2 PM.  The CISCE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam 2022 candidates must note that in addition to the time indicated in the timetable for writing the paper, 10 minutes time is given for reading the question paper.

The ICSE and ISC 2022 candidates must login to the official website of CISCE at cisce.org to check the timetables.

The CISCE had last week announced the postponement of first term exams citing reasons "beyond its control". Earlier, the class 10 and 12 exams were scheduled to begin from November 15 and 16 respectively.

The letter further stated that after much deliberaion, the CISCE has decided to conduct the ISC and ICSE semester 1 board exam 2022 in offline mode. These exams will be conducted in the respective schools of the candidates.
