CBSE Class 10, 12 students have been demanding to cancel the CBSE exams 2021 due to rising Covid 19 cases. Event many parents of these students have also sought cancellation of CBSE Board exams 2021. The students have even signed an online petition asking the central Board of Secondary Education and the government to either cancel the exams or conduct it in online mode. The students have been voicing their opinion about the scheduled CBSE Board exam through hashtag 'cancelboardexams2021' . CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 is slated to start from May 4.

"Class 11 Exams cancelled, then why you can't cancel class 10 exams. Only Class 10 and 12 is important? One student can be wrong but millions of students cannot be wrong....(sic)" wrote a Twitter user Vikas Yadav. 

Meanwhile, CBSE had made its stand clear on cancellation of exams. The Board said the exams will be conducted keeping all safety measures in mind. "Adequate arrangements are being made to ensure the students are safe and all COVID protocols are followed. The number of exam centres has been increased by 40-50 per cent to ensure social distancing. The staff at exam centres is being sensitised to ensure all guidelines are followed," PTI quoted a CBSE official making this statement. 

"Ok now they are saying that they will take the exam safely, But whats about our journey to the exam center? It will not effect us infected? @TheAnuragTyagi sir look at this matter. We dont want our exam. We want our life. @EduMinOfIndia   #cancelboardexams2021 #PahleJaanFirExam (sic)," tweeted Arpan Sarkar. 

Recently, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) postponed the UP Boards Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2021, which was scheduled to start from April 24. The decision to postpone UP Board exams 2021 has been taken in the view of Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Election and surge in Covid 19 cases
