Last date for updating practical/internal assessment marks extended

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for uploading the marks of practical or internal assessment for CBSE Class Class 12 Board Exams 2021 till June 28, 2021. In the notification issued by CBSE, it is stated that the schools with pending practical exams or internal assessments will have to conduct the exams in online mode only.

Assessment criteria

As per a recent ANI report, the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students may be graded based on their previous year's performance according to some currently surfacing reports and updates from the government. In this evaluation scheme, the grades and performance of the students from Class 9 to Class 11 might also be taken into consideration. Also, according to certain sources, it has also been suggested that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) should integrate CBSE Class 10 Board Exam results, as well as Class 11 and Class 12 internal marks assessment to make the evaluation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results simpler.

Incidentally, last week the CBSE Secretary has informed that the evaluation process for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students is likely to begin within 15 days, He added, "We expect that within two weeks we will decide the criteria on what parameters the result of the 12th exam will be made. It will take about two weeks because we need to do a long discussion because there are 14 lakh students, whose results are to come."

Expected result date

CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi while speaking to ANI also informed that they are trying to give the result in the shortest possible time before the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students need to give their results in higher education institution of foreign institutes.
