CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi has said that the COVID-19 situation has not only caused trouble to the children of the country but for children across the globe, a Dainik Bhaskar report said. 

"We hope that the situation will be normal soon and the students will be able to get rid of the current online classes," he added.  

When the CBSE Secretary was asked about the announcement of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results, he said that the criteria have not been decided yet and this will take two weeks, this report said. 

He assured, "Once the criteria are decided, data will be collected from all the schools under the CBSE board, then the assessment data will be uploaded. This will take a long time. It is not possible to give a definite date yet but let’s assume that the criteria will be circulated in two weeks."

Recently, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for uploading the marks of practical or internal assessment for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 till June 28, 2021. In the notification issued by CBSE, it is stated that the schools with pending practical exams or internal assessments will have to conduct the exams in online mode only.

As per a recent ANI report, the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students may be graded based on their previous year's performance. In this evaluation scheme, the grades and performance of the students from Class 9 to Class 11 might also be taken into consideration, this report said. 

It has also been suggested that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) should integrate CBSE Class 10 Board Exam results, as well as Class 11 and Class 12 internal marks assessment to make the evaluation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results simpler, this report said citing sources.
