CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi on Thursday informed that they would give the results in the shortest possible time. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 candidates are also requested to keep an eye on the CBSE official website at cbse.gov.in for any updates on the results.

While speaking to news agency ANI, Tripathi said, "We cannot fix any date or time today, but we also know that this work has to be done as soon as possible. I would request to parents and students that we will try to give the result in the shortest possible time before students need to give the result in the higher education institution or foreign institutes."

The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was cancelled on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting on this issue. The Prime Minister has also directed officials to ensure that the results will be prepared in accordance with well-defined criteria, in a fair and time-bound manner. It has also been decided that like last year, in case some students desire to take the exams, such an option would be provided to them by CBSE, as and when the situation becomes conducive.

Earlier, CBSE officials informed ANI that the structuring of the evaluation criteria for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students will take at least two weeks. While speaking to ANI, a senior CBSE official said, "The process of completion of the criteria for evaluation of Class 12 students will take at least two weeks."

The CBSE Secretary has informed that the evaluation process for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students is likely to begin within 15 days, He added, "We expect that within two weeks we will decide the criteria on what parameters the result of the 12th exam will be made. It will take about two weeks because we need to do a long discussion because there are 14 lakh students, whose results are to come."

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had also cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 on April 14, 2021, keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state. The CBSE has also announced the marks tabulation policy for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021. The CBSE Class 10 Class 12 Board Exams 2021were scheduled to take place in the offline mode from May 4, 2021, to June 14, 2021.
