The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday declared the CBSE Result 2022 for Class 10th. Students can check CBSE Class 10 results online on the board's official websites. Students can also download their mark sheet from DigiLocker.

Trivandrum zone topped the CBSE Class 10 results, according to the board. The zone registered a 99.68 pass percentage. Trivandrum was followed by Bengaluru (99.22 pass percentage) and Chennai (98.97 pass percentage). The Ajmer zone grabbed the fourth position with a 98.14 pass percentage.

CBSE Class 10 result: School-wise performance
 
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya's overall pass percentage stood at 99.71%, followed by CTSA Schools (91.27%). Kendriya Vidyalaya ranked third with a 96.61 pass percentage.

Girls outperform boys

Girls outperformed boys yet again. Girls recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.21 as compared to boys who secured a pass percentage of 93.80. The pass percentage of transgender candidates is 90 percent.
 
Steps to check CBSE Class 10 result

Step 1: Visit the official website, cbseresults.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'Class 10 result 2022' link.

Step 3: Enter board roll number, date of birth, and school number.

Step 4: Click on the 'Submit' button.

Step 5: The online CBSE class 10th results will be displayed on the screen.

It may be noted that the CBSE changed the exam pattern and conducted Term 1 and Term 2 examinations this year. While Term 1 exams were a 90-minute objective, Term 2 exams were a two-and-a-half-hour long paper.

The Term 1 exams were conducted late last year while Term 2 exams were organised by the board from April 26 to May this year. While 30 per cent weightage was given to the Term 1 papers, 70 per cent weightage was given to the Term 2 papers in finalising the result.
