CBSE Class 10 Class 12 Latest News: The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students are eagerly waiting for a decision on the board examination to be taken by authorities. Till now, there has been no announcement on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 but there has been an important development on CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notification on May 18 where it stated that it has decided to extend the date for submission of the marks for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students. The interested students can check out the notification by logging in to the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

In its notification, the CBSE has stated that keeping in view the pandemic situation and the lockdown in several states, the board has decided to extend the dates for the submission of marks. The CBSE had issued a notification on May 1, 2021, where it was kept June 5 as the last date for submission of marks and June 11 for submission of internal assessment marks. However, now June 30, 2021, has been kept as the date for the submission of both. The extension in the deadline for the submission of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 marks might also delay the announcement of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results.

Notably, last month, the CBSE had cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The CBSE later announced the evaluation criteria for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students, however, no decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been taken yet.

It was expected that a decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 might be announced after Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank-chaired meeting with School Education Secretaries of all the states and union territories on May 17, 2021. However, no announcement on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was made. In the meeting, the union education minister thanked all the states for their commendable work in the field of education and assured of the ministry's help and support in this difficult time to fight the problem together. MoS Sanjay Dhotre stressed upon exploring ways to provide hybrid education comprising of both offline and online teaching methods.

He emphasised on the fact that scientific temperament of students will play a deciding role in post COVID world therefore education system of the country should focus on developing critical thinking ability, logical reasoning ability and scientific temper among students. He called upon everyone to work together as a team in furthering the spirit of NEP 2020 and effectively implementing it to achieve the desired goals.

The CBSE earlier notified that a decision on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be taken a after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country on June 1, 2021. It is expected that a decision regarding the CBSE exams will be taken soon.
