CBSE Latest News: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced the evaluation criteria for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students. Also, the CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj informed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be announced by June 20. This deadline has created a bit of a problem for the Delhi government schools.

Recently, the principals of the Delhi government schools have asked to extend the result date as per a report by india.com. It might be difficult for them to submit the result sheets by the current deadline for submitting the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results. Incidentally, the CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj informed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be announced by June 20. He also added, "The schools will form eight-member result committees by May 5. The provision for school-wise distribution of marks as well as finalisation of rationale document will happen by May 10."

Last month, the CBSE had announced the cancellation of the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021. The CBSE then informed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students will be evaluated on the basis of an 'objective criterion'. The board has also announced the assessment scheme and the tabulation policy for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students.

While CBSE notified that the marking scheme for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates will be based on the internal assessment and two other criteria as follows:
a) based on the marks scored by the candidate in different tests/exams conducted by the school in the course of the year
b) the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 10 Board exams

The CBSE exam controller also informed that those CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates who have not appeared in enough tests through the year, the schools will conduct online or telephonic assessment for them by May 15 and will have to finalise the result by May 25. He also added that the marks will have to be submitted to the CBSE by June 11 and the result will be declared by June 20.

For this evaluation process, the CBSE has also instructed to form a result committee consisting of principal and seven teachers for finalizing the results. Five teachers from the school should be from Mathematics, Social Science, Science and two languages. Also, two teachers from neighbouring schools should be co-opted by the school as the external members of the committee.

However, several schools have raised their concern that they will not be able to follow all these steps within the given period of time. The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 was supposed to commence from May 4, 2021.
